A bit about me

I’m a Real Estate & Interiors Photographer based out of Toronto. It took me some time to get here though- 7 long years and two universities. I hadn’t planned this of course, but life throws curveballs and I ended up dropping out of one school to go to another. I eventually graduated from Ryerson (aka Toronto Metropolitan University) in 2011 with a bfa in photography and fell into the wedding world as a photo assistant. Very quickly I realised it wasn’t for me regardless of how much I love weddings- the pressure on a wedding photographer is real.

So what to do? I needed to get on with life so that meant figuring out a proper job. Being underemployed had me watching a ton of television, mostly HGTV, where I realised how much I liked interior design. While I have no talent for interior design myself, photographing homes would give me the opportunity to see beautiful spaces in real life.

I found there was a real learning curve to shooting interiors- it’s kind of the perfect hybrid of technical skills and creativity. So over the years I took a lot of photos, made a few mistakes, and somewhere along the way I fell in love with it.
